Hellen from China

Hellen's mum came over for the summer to study in Delft. Whilst in China she found us on the internet and booked Hellen in for the Summer Art Club. Hellen is a very talented girl for her age and produced quite a lot of nice work. Keep up the good work Hellen!

Best wishes,
Jocelyn and Jean.

Joel from Mexico

Joel, all the way from Mexico, made lots of art during the Summer Art Club workshops. A picture frame for his mum's birthday, a life size selfportrait, decorating ceramics, fantasy art and his mini movi animation. View it here!

It was a pleasure having you here Joel and may be we will see you again some time in the future!

Aureena's last day

Aureena has been with us for about a year and has made quite a lot of art. Click here to see her work. It has been fun teaching you Aureena, hope you settle in your new country and home and school life. Keep up the good art work and keep in touch!

Seventeen meters of spoons!

In May of this year I started painting the inside of a restaurant terrace wall. It's seventeen meters long and fourty centimeters high. The original painting of the spoons is hanging in the restaurant D-light. It's one of the restaurant owners favourite paintings so he commissioned me to paint the inside of the terrace with the same spoons. The painting was first done in acrylic with an oil top coat.

Even though I had to sit there in the blinding sun the end result is worth the effort!

All the way from Norway

Beginning of April, Uliana joined the class for a two week intensive course with me. She came all the way from Oslo in Norway which I thought was pretty cool ! Uliana wanted an intensive course in drawing and painting as she intends to study in the USA next year, she wants to become an interior designer. I must say that I enjoyed her company very much and we had a great time together. In the two short weeks that she was with me, we covered design theory, perspective, colour, basic drawing skills, figure drawing, contrasts and much more.
Unfortunately when it was time for Uliana to leave, the volcano in Iceland decided to errupt and instead of flying home, it took her six trains two buses a ferry and a taxi to get home! Glad to have met you Uliana and keep intouch.
